Our journeyman’s short course is designed for intermediate beekeepers that would like to refine their skills to improve colony management and honey production through the nectar flow season.  The program is offered in the afternoons of the third saturday of the month starting at 1pm during April, May, June and July at our processing site at 970 Kimberton Rd, Chester Springs Pa 19425.

Topics covered include, swarm management, supering, honey removal and extracting along with a complete review and discussion of intergrated pest management.  

This course is interactive with a hands on component, you will need to bring your bee suit and protective clothing.

Course fee is set at $40 with the expectation of 8 hours of presentation/discussion/practical experience.
